Public meetings will be held during the planning process to allow the County to gather input from residents and business owners on their transportation priorities. Cook County wants to produce a plan that links transportation to jobs and economic development, supports more livable and sustainable communities and addresses infrastructure needs 25 years into the future.

Pop Up Meetings

Pop Up Meetings will be utilized throughout the planning process on an as needed basis. They allow for additional opportunities to solicit public input.

Public meetings will be held throughout the planning process in order to effectively update the public and solicit feedback.

The project website, social media, newspaper ads and press releases will be used to advertise the public meetings.

Presentations, fact sheets, meeting displays, advertisements, and all other materials will be posted on this website once they are produced.

Comments received from the public will be summarized and used to finalize the LRTP.
